The International MACCS User Group (IMUG) Meeting will be streamed online. The dates for these meetings are as follows:

  • MELCOR User Workshop: August 31, 2020

  • IMUG Meeting: Week of August 31, 2020 (VIRTUAL MEETING ONLY)
  • MACCS User Workshop: TBD

The purpose of the CSARP/MCAP meetings is to exchange technical information on severe accident research including experiments and analytical models to address regulatory and safety issues.  The one-day MELCOR workshop focuses on new code modeling features and allows interaction between the users and the code development team.  The IMUG meeting is a forum for the exchange of information and research experience among users of the MACCS code.  The MACCS User Workshop is a training course for the MACCS computer code where participants gain hands-on modeling experience.  More information on IMUG and the MACCS Workshop, including a preliminary agenda and presentations from past years, is available at https://maccs.sandia.gov/events.aspx.

For the MELCOR and MACCS workshop, please make sure that you are a registered code user for each code. If you are not currently a registered MACCS user, please request MACCS via email to MACCScodes@nrc.gov at least two months in advance.

The meeting announcement and preliminary agendas will be posted here soon.
